We are hiring:

Java Architect (Helsinki office)

Responsibilities include:

• Developing, maintaining and integrating Leiki's adaptive personalisation technology
• Working with customers and developers
• Possibility to work partly as a technical project manager

We are looking for a person with relevant work experience with clients and projects, including strong Java and object oriented programming skills, and strong communication skills.

We prefer applicants with:

• Strong skills in developing large scale server side Java applications
• Strong skills in SQL and databases
• Experience in Java/SQL optimization and concurrent programming
• Academic degree (such as M.Sc.)

We also appreciate:

• Familiriaty with Linux servers
• Familiriaty with some of the following: Tomcat, MySQL, Hibernate, Spring
• Familiriaty with internet technologies (HTTP, (X)HTML, JSP/servlets or Javascript)
• Interest and skills on algorithms for machine learning and text analysis
